Take the first step toward transformation today.

At Victory Family Rescue Mission, our Christ-centered programs for women and men are designed to transform lives through the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit. Each day is an opportunity for renewal, with activities that include prayer, worship, Bible study, outreach, and community service, building a foundation for lasting freedom, purpose, and faith. Open to individuals aged 18 to 50, our rescue mission offers long term housing in a supportive, faith-filled environment to help participants break free from addiction, restore self-worth, and embrace a life as devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“Over the years, I have come to recognize the value of organizations such as
Victory Family. They say you know an organization by its fruit, and I have seen
first-hand the lasting fruit of changed lives that has been produced by this ministry
—not just the lives of the men they serve, but also their families.”

Doug Stringer

Founder, Somebody Cares International

“I am excited about the future, working with you guys and seeing what God is going to do in your ministry. When I first started working with men we exploded and I know the same thing is going to happen to Victory Family. We need strong men who can be servant leaders. Get behind and support this mission!”

Camino De Vida, Lima Peru

MEET THE TEAM

Joe and Carmen.jpg

Joe & Carmen Trevino

Founders

In 1992, Joe & Carmen Trevino were given a two story apartment building just outside of downtown Houston with six rental apartments. Many people could have seen this as an excellent opportunity to create wealth or cash flow, not the Trevinos. They saw an opportunity to help others. In 1994, the doors of Victory Family Recovery Center for men were opened to the city.  In 1998, Having the same vision for the women a women's recovery center located behind the men's recovery center was opened. Joe and Carmen serve as Pastors of Victory Family Church and have also founded in 2005 a Men's Recovery Center in Merida Yucatan Mexico.

Ron Waggoner

Program Director

Ron entered Victory Family Recovery Center at 42 years of age. He knew it was time to make Jesus Lord, not just Savior. Things were not working out his way. What started out as occasional weekend recreational drug use, turned into more and more drugs, and troubles became overwhelming. He entered Victory Family Recovery Center excited for what God was going to do in his life. Today, Ron serves as the Men's Recovery Center Director. He is still excited with what God is doing in his life and the life of other men as well.
